This procedure is used to tighten the upper arm and help fix the so-called "batwing" appearance of the upper arm. An ellipse of skin and subcutaneous tissue is removed tightening the circumference of the upper arm. The incision is kept on the underside of the arm so that it is not in a very visible spot.
How Long Does Brachioplasty Take?
This surgery takes about 1.5 hours under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis.
